Background

The South East Small Business Group has been formed to assist the needs of very small businesses in the community including small business operators who operate from home.

Aim

The aim of the South East Small Business Group is:

• Education and Information – To provide owners of small businesses with as much practical information as possible on aspects of running and operating a business. This will include some workshops and seminars. Other initiatives will be developed once the Group is established and the needs of small business owners are more clearly identified.
• Networking – To allow owners of businesses to meet with other owners with a view to possibly developing a network that could provide useful business relationships.
• Mentoring – Long term business operator to act as mentor to new business and provide them with direction.

Who can join the South East Small Business Group

Joining is FREE, however the following criteria must be satisfied before a small business owner is eligible to join.

The business must:

• Be trading
• Be defined as a Small Business
• Home Based Business are also eligible to join
